2009 Summer Camp

We are happy to announce the First Pegasus 2009 Summer Camp Program! This summer camp will run June 15th- July 10th. The program will be 12:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday for ages 7 -14. The schedule will consist of learning about all aspects of equine husbandry / horsemanship, how an equestrian facility operates, doing barn chores, equine arts and crafts and a small riding component. We will provide healthy snacks and drinks for all attendees, we will have guest speakers and other programming surprises (age dependant) !

Attendees will be required to wear traditional jeans or riding jodhpurs and sturdy boots with a small, flat 1/2 inch heel. We recommend that you purchase a pair of riding gloves and a fitted, approved riding helmet for your child. A bike helmet is not appropriate.

**FLIP FLOPS AND/OR OPEN TOED SHOES ARE NOT ALLOWED**

Weekly sessions are prepaid and non refundable. Permission forms and a $50.00 deposit paid by June 12th is required to hold your child's space and the balance of tuition is due by the start of the first day of camp.

Cost of Program: $100.00 per week, 10% discount for attendees who sign up for all 4 weeks.

We are a full service training and breeding facility located in Berlin Heights Ohio, just 30 minutes from the Cleveland airport. Pegasus has nearly 300 acres of pasture and daily turnout pens for the nearly 200 head of horses they maintain.

Pegasus Stands: Multiple National Champion Arabian Armani FC, his son National Champion Masquerade PA, National Champion Hondo Afire, the Dutch Harness Horse Champion Jonker, Renai and NSHA Dutch Harness Horse Champion Ulysses R, Dutch Harness Horse Stallion Windemere, National Champion Arabian Autumn Seance and the Egyptian Stallion, El Ashkar. The facilities at farm are geared towards breeding and training. The mare breeding barn has 34 stalls adjoined by the breeding area and lab. Cameras located over the foaling stalls make it easy to foal the mares. The entire barn area is heated for year-round comfort of horse, rider and trainer.
